Jimmy was a great supporter of the sporting codes. We would often run into each other at the major All Blacks games and along Paratai Drive where we both lived. He was a cheeky character full of charm and mischief- which got him involved with affairs of the heart which were extremely ill-thought out. I worked with James on the creation of a distribution warehouse for a global confectionery company. He was a true gentleman and I remember fondly the interactions that we had and feel privileged to have worked with him. Deepest condolences to his family at this time.
