Not sure what to say?

Jimmy was a great supporter of the sporting codes. We would often run into each other at the major All Blacks games and along Paratai Drive where we both lived. He was a cheeky character full of charm and mischief- which got him involved with affairs of the heart which were extremely ill-thought out. One things for sure he never made mistakes in his business life and that is why he of NZ´s most successful developers to this day. They don´t make em like they used to - that´s for sure. Rest...

A great leader. Deepest sympathy to all James family and work family.

Kirkie You were always good to be with, and we had a number of years. on and off the water.

"JK" - James Kirkpatrick: I had the pleasure of working for you for 15 yrs and they were great years. You were a special boss who was hardworking, you set the pace but were always fair-minded and generous to your staff and with your big smile and humour you won the day! I wish to pass on my deepest sympathy to James Jnr and the family. You´ve left a legacy for others to follow. May you rest in peace James.

James, I was saddened to hear of your passing. I got to know you though the many Building projects with the company I worked for as a project site manager over a decade or more, you certainly left your mark on the Auckland city landscape. I enjoyed your daily site visits to personally checking on progress, sometimes with your faithful companion at your side. I enjoyed your smily grin and cheeky humour. Condolences to James Junior and family. JAMES you will be missed by many who knew...

Spending almost a third of your life working with him, he was not just my...

All the best wishes for your next life in the beyond. You were a nice friend and helpful to so many people. Unfortunately as I now have cancer I will be joining you fairly soon as well. Best wishes Warren Le Noel

Much love to you all

I worked with James on the creation of a distribution warehouse for a global confectionery company. He was a true gentleman and I remember fondly the interactions that we had and feel privileged to have worked with him. Deepest condolences to his family at this time.
