I am one of Chris's many cousins. Our Great grandfather was A.W. Berryman. Chris was always very helpful in my geneology quest, he even made a trip to see my mother in Maryland for family information.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in you time of need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

But having retired from the Army myself I know that Chris's efforts while in the Marines were probably under-appreciated with the exception of his family and close friends.
