My association with Klode was brief, but I could tell he was a good man. I liked him from the moment I met him, while visiting John Hamilton in Green Cove Springs

Dear Peter and Family,
I was so sorry to her about your father. He and my parents had many good times together and they were very fond of him. I always enjoyed his stories when he stopped to visit my mom and dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with with you and your family.

Jim was a very special person to me and my family. I remember how excited us kids would get when Jim pulled into town with his truck and camper trailer. He would always invite us in for a friendly conversation and some of his famous popcorn. I always remember him telling stories with a big smile on his face. Jim is well loved, and will be greatly missed.

Jim was a great uncle in so many ways. I loved hearing his stories whenever he stopped by for a visit with Bob. He never outgrew adventure.

Jim was my "second Dad". We lived on sailboats together in FL, traveled the ICW together at times, and we even met him in the Yukon and spent time with him from Whitehorse to Dawson City. Luckily we got to see him three times in the last three months, had lunches and dinners together and laughed out loud at all the things we did. The folks at Union Grove were the best, and he truly loved them all.

Jim was a wonderful person! I only knew him for a short time, but I did see the love he had for his family and friends. He shared stories with me about times he spent on the water during his life. I am sure he is drifting peacefully in the sun somewhere right now! He will live on in the memories of his family and friends.
My sympathy to to his family.

I have enjoyed seeing Jim on his stops in Cedar Grove on his way to FL or the Yukon. I work at M & R Service in Cedar Grove and whenever he was in town he would stop by to see us or have some service done. We always looked forward to his visits! He always had a story to tell. Please accept my sincerest sympathies. He will be truly missed.
