Not sure what to say?

Everett and I lived across the hall from Jimmy and Harriet at Georgia Tech and they visited us a few years after we moved to Panama City. We are absolutely stunned to hear of his death and we are so very sorry.

Our two families kept in touch for a number of years and then we all got too busy with our lives and our children. I regret that.

Jon, if you read this, please write us at [email protected].

I was with my daughter and grandchildren in Seattle/Bainbridge Island, WA, when a friend called me with this sad and tragic news. I have been a patient of Dr. Knight for over 25 years, and had just seen him on May 21st. He was so kind and thoughtful--a wonderful person and doctor. It is such a loss to his family, patients and the entire medical community. He will truly be missed.

With my deepest sympathy,

Jim has been our friend and our physician since we lived across the street from him on Brandywine Drive back in the i970s. He was a wonderful doctor -- kind, thoughtful, careful to explain -- all too rare in medicine today. Although we moved to Richmond 18 years ago, we have continued to drive up to Charlottesville to visit him for our regular checkups and occasional ailments. We will miss him terribly.

With our most sincere condolences,

"Jimmy" was a great friend and wonderful classmate back in our high school days in Perry. He was an incredible role model for all of us through scouting, school and athletics. Always worked hard, cared deeply and loved all.
We will all miss him. May God's grace be upon his family during this difficult time of sadness. His love for you will never be lost.

Dr. Knight was a very kind and gentle man. A wonderful doctor and we will miss him and his care so very much. It will be a almost impossible job to replace him and his mannerism. We send our deepest sympathy to the family and of course Libby and Bev his wonderful medical staff. God has gained a great man and he has left us with many wonderful memories and words.

He was a good doc and a nice fellow to boot!

Jim Knight was a true gentleman and an exceptional doctor. His sweet manner was the reason he was my doctor for the past 15+ years. He will be missed. May his family find peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Knight's passing. He was a kind and attentive doctor - easy to know and trust. I will miss the professional approach he gave to the critical task of FAA flight physicals. I will miss my fellow aviator and friend, and we have all lost a doctor whose contribution to flight safety will not easily be replaced.

My wife and I were out of the state when Dr. Knight passed. He was a giant of a man, who fervently cared about others. I was shocked to hear of his passing and wish peace and God's comfort for his family and friends.

Having been his patient for over 20 years, I hardly think I will find another GP with his compassion and kindness. God Bless
