I started my life in construction with Jim's guidance. I remember Jim as a person that wanted to teach young people to work hard. Even though I was the son of Jim's employer, it didn't matter to him and he was still going to teach me to work hard and do things the right way.

I knew Jim Kohne before I knew John Gebert, both are, in my thoughts, very very good and ethical people.

I will always remember Jim. His leadership and attitude at work set the foundation for my success, He was like "Joseph" to me. A Carpenter who loved his trade. May you have good grief as you hold on to the many good memories he left.
