Not sure what to say?

I met Jim when we used to swim in Mayor Pete's pool with Red, Paul & Melvin in the late 50's, early 60's. We were not close friends. But, he always seemed to move at his own pace & to do his own thing. I admire that.

I played many a pick-up game of basketball with Jim at Elmwood Park while growing up in the 1970s. Although he was about 12 years older, he played with an ageless enthusiasm. Jim was a guy you wanted on your team...always hustling, selfless, and tough. Jimmy was a good friend in high school. A kind man, very intelligent, great sense of humor. Rest peacefully, Jim. You are home.

Jimmy often stuck around and when I stopped by, they would be sitting at the dining...
