James M. Krautsack

I am saddened to hear of the news of the death of Jim Krautsack. I remember as a child how Missy (my first "best friend" and next door neighbor) and I planted a tree seed in a pot, and as it grew, he used to put coins in the bottom of it and told us that it was a money tree and that the coins "just showed up" Being little, we thought that was so neat... I wonder if Missy remembers that too. I guess all good things come to an end, and it is especially hard when those good things are parents....

We are visiting this site in sympathy and memory of James Krautsack. I am the daughter of
Anna Ausserer Laird (who is the Godmother of James). She is very saddened by his death. Especially after losing our father Robert last Christmas. She extends her sincere sympathy and love to the family and is saddened that she cannot attend his services. She will contact you by mail soon. She loved him very much and has told us very happy stories of the past. She was honored to be his Godmother....
