I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Jim as a colleague and a friend for over thirty years. He was my role model. The way he served his clients with integrity and respect inspired me to be a better financial advisor. He was always the smartest guy in the room. Bring him a complicated issue and he would generously give his time and valuable advice. He also had a big heart. When a colleague was diagnosed with a serious illness he made time to visit her on a regular basis....

I can't begin to express what a wonderful friend this man was to me during my early years in San Francisco and for forty years in all. He was someone who left a forever impression of quality and high standards on everything he did and all that he was. I will miss Krotz. We love you Carole. Jim and Claudene

So sorry to hear. He was my mentor. One of the most intelintelligent, funny and respected men that I knew in this business. His dry sense of humor, wit will be missed.
