My Sincere Condolences, to the family! I learned of Jim through Jim Lovett and had heard many stories about him as a pilot! and a friend teaching Judge Lovett to fly a private plane!! 2001-2002

I have known and admired Jim Branton since our undergraduate, ROTC and law school days at the University of Texas. He was highly professional and an accomplished leader and true friend. One of a kind.

Molly, Victoria and Claudia, I am thinking of you at this time and know anniversaries are tough for everyone. Healing takes a lifetime but it does happen. Hope this next year lessens the hurt even more. Jim was one wonderful human being as is all your family! Love to all, Sally

Dear Molly and family, I am heartbroken to hear the news about Jim. He was a light in my life and will be in my heart forever. My prayers to all of you. Sandy

Jim Branton was a "lion" of the bar for decades. He represented the best of our profession and an inspiration to others who were fortunate enough to know him. R.I.P. old friend. You will be missed.
