First of all, my condolences to Mrs. Pauline and the entire Ladson Family. James was like a father figure as well as a good friend for almost 40+ years. he taught me a lot during our time working together at Charleston County Public Public. He and Mrs. Pauline accepted me into their home and treated me as one of their children. I will truly miss his good humor smile(with the cigar) and his words of wisdom.
