Not sure what to say?

Looking forward to seeing this guy in heaven and thanking him for letting the light of Jesus shine in music and kindness. He made a difference in the lives of many at St. Matthews in Holt, and he was among those who helped to nurture my fledgling faith.

I am so sorry. Many good memories with youth group at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. To the family just one day at a time and treasure the memories.

Jim, I haven't seen you in about 40 years, but I would still recognize that smile! Thanks for following Jesus and leading others along with you. We look forward to singing with you in heaven.

Jim was a wonderful inspiration to so many young people at St. Matthew Lutheran church, in Holt MI. He lead us all to the cross through his words and actions. What a wonderful example for so many young people to follow. Rest in His arms Jim.

on behalf of all of his friends from St. Matthew Lutheran church in Holt Mi.where he was a big part of our youth group I would like to say Jim was loved by all of us who knew him and he will be missed by all of us

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was truly one of the good ones; kind, compassionate, fun-loving, giving, and the world is a better place because he was in it. Jeane, my sincere sympathy.

We will miss Jim and his humor. He was always so willing to participate in various activities and schemes. I'm glad I got to see Jim and Jean this summer, and I'm grateful for the way he cared for his family. Once upon a time 6 of us had fun in Las Vegas. So sorry he passed away. We will miss him.

So sad to hear of Dr. Lampe's passing. He always included my husband and I at his table each Christmas for the Madrigal Dinner here at TTU.
