Not sure what to say?

Jim taught my son Jake drums and made a huge impact in his life. Jake is now playing in multiple bands thanks to Jim's influence, the time and effort Jim invested in my son is priceless. Great musician, great man - we will miss Jim.

I am so sorry to hear this news. My condolences to the family, especially dear Ruth. We all shared so much music together! My love to all, Kristine Mulder

We called him Elvis. He was a joy to work with. This saddens our hearts deeply. Annemarie & Jackson IATSE 395 & 38. God Speed Friend

I send my heartfelt sympathy to Jim´s family. Henry Johnson

There was not a single time I interacted with Jimmy growing up that I failed to laugh in his presence. He´s one of the funniest men on earth. He´s one of those individuals that is so memorable and unmistakable. There´s no one like Jimmy. I love his family and I love having the opportunity to grow up with such great people in my life. Incredibly talented, wicked funny, smart, quick witted, warm, and kind. Dinners, holidays, and gatherings were always the best with the Lancioni´s. He´s so...

I studied percussion with Mr. Lancioni for about 5 years and I always appreciated his off-beat (pun intended) sense of humor. I was lucky to run into him the last time I was in Chelsea. I mentioned I was happy to be at my parents´ house because it meant I could play the vintage Ludwig drum kit I keep in their basement. His response was: "Good! Play `em [expletive deleted] loud! Wake up the neighbors!" I am sure all of his former students have similar stories. We were lucky to have a...

Jim and I played alongside each other on many playing engagements, and I believe he thought of us as colleagues. There was no one better at doing things the way he did playing-wise! The music world is somewhat emptier in our neck of the woods, but the best memories I have of him will always live on! (Gosh, I'd give anything to still hear him warm up on timpani in his inimitable style...) Terry F.

Ny condolences to the family. I worked with Jim for some time at Truven Health/Thomson Reuters. Jim was a fun loving guy and full of life. He always had the ability to make others laugh. He will be missed.

I worked with Jim at Medstat. He was always funny no matter how tangled your computer or network problem was. Every work place needed a Jim Lancioni to lighten things up. And he was very, very good at fixing the issues. And making you laugh at it and yourself. He will be missed by a lot of people. My deepest condolences to Jim's family for their loss. It's a loss for our world.
