Not sure what to say?

Fr. Lane,
I just wanted to write to let you know you are not forgotten, in fact you are missed so much. You were a hero to so many and you will live on in our hearts forever.

Dear Fr. Lane,
What a wonderful person you were to so many people. Charlie spoke of you often and how your Mothers would speak when they sat on the steps. I only met you for a short period in my life but you brought so much joy to so many people it was a blessing and a joy to have met you. May you rest in peace.

My condolences to Fr. Lane's family and friends at this time. Fr Lane was part of my families lives since our days at St. Paul's. HE was always there when we needed guidence or a friendly pat on the back and a hug. Last time I saw him was when he help lay our father to rest 3 years ago. I didn't know he had been ill. But heaven is a much better place with him in it. It is our loss for loosing such a good man. Fr Lane you will be thought of with precious memories and missed dearly....

Thank you Fr. Lane for everything you have done, your dedication and love for our parish and families will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

Father Herb,
A lot of water over the dam since the South Boston Boy's Club, then the Southie Class of "52". The last time I had the pleasure of your company was the South Boston High School Class Of 1952 reunion 2002, we had a few beers together! You never changed one bit in sixty years I knew you, a great kid, classmate and Priest!

It is with sadness that condolences are sent to the family/relatives of Beloved Father Lane. I was introduced to Father by a mutual friend, Diane Roe and was immediately aware of the authentic love, feelings of friendship and caring Father had for me. I believe he continues to listen to my prayers and with his warmth and individual attention, will intercede on the behalf of all my family members. I was blessed to have met Father Lane even for a short time. So, it is with such love he shared,...
