I'm very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We were in school together on Orcas Island. It was great to see Jim at our 30th reunion and I was looking forward to seeing him at the July reunion. I will remember Jim as a kind, interesting guy. Mike Bartram

Part of the joy of shopping at Luca Ravioli was seeing Jim. Around 1982 he learned that I was a counselor at Woodrow Wilson High School and asked me to refer a student to work at Lucca´s after school. That was the beginning of a long relationship. Condolences to family and friends. So sad to read of Jim's sudden death so soon after retirement. I was a customer for decades at Lucca's which was the best place to go in SF. Jim didn't have an easy job as the store was packed and the food was fresh. The photos may show Jim at work on 4/20/19. May Jim rest in peace.
