Jim was my brother, so we grew up together in our home town of Plainwell. We had a wonderful childhood (mainly due to love of our parents - Jan & Dave). Our summers were spent outdoors. We did a lot of camping & had lots of fun every summer vacationing with our cousins at Pine Lake in Wellston. We also looked forward to our annual visit with our Grandfather, Dorothy & Uncle Freddie, who lived in New York. Jim was very athletic & our family enjoyed our Friday nights watching him play...

I am so sorry to hear that Jim has passed on. We were classmates at PHS. More recently, my brother, Sam Adams, was good friends with Jim. When Sam came home in October of 2024, we talked about Jim. God bless Jim´s family. I pray for their peace and prosperity.

Jim I can´t believe you are in heaven. We have so much history from teammates in high school football and basketball to roommates after high school to you quitting your job and me college in January of 1973 and going on a 2 month trip around Florida with a tent. We came back so you could get married. We had the best time with the guys playing softball on the Smoke team for years.
