Not sure what to say?

For about five years ( over10 years ago) I walked in the morning along Flora St. I became acquainted with Jim by just saying "hello" and sharing bits of information. What a thoughtful, nice person he was!. He always spoke highly of his family and Arlene. One time I told him that I thought of the people who walked in the morning as being a part of my walking club, but people like him, just didn't know they were in "my" club. He was so amused. He told me how long he had been doing this...

I always thought of my friend as 'Gentleman Jim' and enjoyed trading 'war stories' from our military service in Germany in different epochs. May he rest in peace. Randal Cruikshanks

Jonathan and I were neighbors of yours when we lived at the top of Encino Court. We always admired the two of you very much and wish we had not lost track of you and Jim. Please take extra good care of yourself Arlene. If you would like a visit at any time, please call us. 544-0626 Holly and Jonathan Lindenthaler

Jim Lau was the most amazing man I have ever met. I had the honor of being his caregiver for 1 1/2 years. I was blessed to have the opportunity to know such a brilliant, kind rare man. His obituary was so perfectly written and so absolutely true in describing what sort of man he was. He most certainly was a gift to everyone who knew him. I will miss him. I look forward to seeing you again someday my friend. Love & Respect,
