James Cory Ledyard Ph.D.

Jim grew up just down the street from ours. He and his sisters would have known us... the O´Brien´ on University Ave. Sisters Kathy & Kelly... for awhile Jim dated Kelly. Jim was a senior at Bellarmine when I entered as a freshman. Wonderful roll model to me. And then he was accepted at Princeton! Wow!

My condolences to the family. We went through 13 years of school together which leaves man]y happy memories. My condolences to all.

Jim Ledyard, always "Mr. Ledyard," to me, was also the Assistant Headmaster, and an English teacher at the Harvard School (now Harvard-Westlake), in Los Angeles. He started there in 1977, or 1978. He was there, when I graduated, in 1980. He loved to sail! He went sailing, with my dad, who was a champion racer, on a couple of races, when i was a senior. My friends, and I, had fun with him. He enjoyed clever, non-destructive, pranks. Harvard was a boys school, back then. It was a part...

The Fry family wants to extend its love and prayers to the Ledyard family. Jan and I had the privilege to head the Annual Fund under Jim's leadership. We can vouch for Jim's superb leadership and communication skills. His personality and spirit naturally drew others to him and his insights that led to many years of superb leadership at Ravenscroft. Many have, and will continue, to use Jim's inspiration to continue to make Ravenscroft a place for enriched learning and growth!
