It is so hard to believe that I am down 2 grandfathers in 2 years. I am so sorry I never got to have the relationship with my Poppee like everyone else but I will never forget the fond memories I do have. I will never forget him telling me he read the dictionary for fun, how I used to play with my ponies on him and my father's lap, how he taught me how to paint and show my artistic side and how after he had his heart surgery and had to climb almost 4 flights of stairs in our military housing,...

Jim, it is hard to believe that you left us almost two years ago to go along you merry way. The first year was tough for me, but I am finding my way. And as you told me so often, Life ....will just be another adventure.....It has been just that. But the greatest adventure was the 28 years you gave to me, full of love and laughter, knowledge and nonsense. That adventure cannot be topped.
Keep watching over those of us who remain on this earth and we will always look for you in the sunshine...

Jim, It's hard to believe that you left this earth a year ago. However, whenever I am with Kristy, I know you are also there. The 2 of your were and are soul mates always. Your presence will never leave us.

Dear Jim, I enjoyed getting to know you over the years after Kristin and I married. I always marvelled over your creativity and what you could make out of a mixture of simple parts. You could do a lot with out spending much money. When I feel stumped by a problem here on the farm I ask myself "how would Jim approach this problem?"
Your approach has helped me solve many problems. It is as if you are whispering in my ear. Your daughter is a beautiful woman whom I love very much. ...

Grandfather Clock, I've put off writing this because I just can't figure out how to accurately put into words a man that was so much larger than life. You meant so much to so many people. No one could have met you and not remembered you. You filled the room with your presence, whether you were there or if people were just talking about you. I can't say I was able to spend as much time with you as I would have liked because, well, you can never spend enough time with someone so special. It's...

Hey Pops, this is such an odd way to express some of my many thoughts, feelings and memories of you, since I did it so many times on the phone with you on my way to and from work. I always looked forward to it. I miss it and cherish it daily. Dad, you were larger than life. I have never met anyone as positive as you or as smart and I'm sure I never will. You could always turn a situation that looked like "doom and gloom" or "hum drum" into a positive,...
