Jim and I were roommates and fraternity brothers at LSU. I stayed in touch with Jim for years following Katrina and his relocation from New Orleans to Denver. We exchanged e-mails and cell phone calls for years. On a family visit to Atlanta to see Lauren, we got together to eat at the famous OK Cafe and enjoyed catching up on our families and our professional lives.
