How do you sum up the life of Jim Lewis? He was my best friend, my dance partner, my hiking buddy, my Scrabble competitor, my husband of 52 years and the love of my life. In essence, he was my everything. In our family the best way to remember our loved ones is the stories that we tell about...

Not sure what to say?

Pam, I was about to make my annual phone call to Jim to wish him and you Happy Holidays when I saw the obituary. My heart is broken. He was my boss for many years at U S Datacorp and later Comstor and was the best boss I ever had. He was not only a great boss but a mentor to me. He was always there to listen and advise. He was strict but fair. I learned so much about life in the business world from him and appreciated so much that he kept contact with me after we retired. He was the best and...

Mr. Lewis was awesome! Quick with a smile and a funny comment, but also genuine and caring. Mr. Lewis was like a 2nd father to me growing up in West Linn. I was a troublemaker royale as Mrs. Lewis can attest to, but Mr Lewis was always patient yet firm. He frequently turned my mischief into a learning moment and was a great role model to a kid who needed one. So many great memories and fun times I could never list them all. Thank you for everything Mr. Lewis!!! You will always be in my...

Dear Pam, I was having lunch with some of the cousins today and heard the news of Jim's death. Ron & I send you our deepest sympathy. I can remember how happy I was for you when you met and married Jim. Your love for each other was evident in your faces and the manner in which you interacted. Though we did not meet often, Jim was always friendly and engaging when we did meet. You built a wonderful and happy life together. “There is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship,...

Single Memorial Tree

Dear Pam, my deepest sympathies for the loss of your lovely man. I didn't know him half as long or half as well as I would have liked but from the time I was lucky enough to spend with him, I know that he was a good and happy man. A man who took pleasure in the wellbeing and happiness of others. Generous of spirit, kind and fun and a welcome guest at any party. Most importantly though, the man I knew all too briefly was obviously a wonderful husband to you and the kind of father who has...

Oh Pam, the pain and sweetest of life and death. Life with Jim brings back memories of you two eternal lovebirds and now without him, he´ll still be with you in spirit, I believe. I´ve been told that we are here on earth for exactly the amount of time we are meant to be. But it´s just not the same without Jim. There was always a twinkle in his eye and I don´t think I´ve ever seen a couple so in love and so vital in every way. That´s why his life will always be remembered by all who were...

What a beautiful message, Pam. You described Jim perfectly. He was always present and smiling. We will all miss him. Love, Bob and Terry

This was such a loving tribute to Jim, Pam. When we think of Jim, we think of him with that amazing smile and laugh. Dan and I loved Jim´s positivity, it really was contagious. Jim loved his family very much and it was always a joy to see him interact with those he loved. We´ll miss very much.
