Dad,
You were a great dad. You always made funny jokes no more if they were funny or not. Even when you were sick you always was making jokes and were a very happy person.
I will never forget you. There is days I find myself thinking about you and find myself crying cause I do miss ya so much. But I know you are in a better place and someday I will see you again.
Love You and Miss You Very Much,

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time. Craig was such a GOOD guy and will be missed very much. He fought the good fight and will forever remain in many hearts. May God help you all to find comfort in knowing that his disease may have conquered his body, but his spirit remains for eternity.

The family does not know us but we nonetheless offer our sympathy. The obituary caught my eye because Joe Taylor was also born in Portsmouth, Ohio, moving to Fort Wayne at age 15. He is now 89 and living in Avilla. When I read the obituary to him, he remarked that he knew Craig's father from his childhood days in Portsmouth and remembered exactly where the family lived then. Again, he wishes to express his condolences.

Craig is a friend that I will never forget and will remember always, Thank You Craig for the many laughs and the wonderful friendship we have had through the years ! I will always remember your courage and spunk as you both fought and accept what was going on inside of of you; you my friend fought a good and hard fight. I really admire the way you were thinking of Nancy first and wanted to make things easier and better for her when God gave his final call. Nancy Thank you so much for loving and taking care of one of the best guys I know! Rest the good rest and sleep in the peace of our Father and Creator, I know that you are at peace and are in no more pain. Until the Resurrection, we will meet and laugh again!

My heart is saddened with the loss of your loved one. I have very fond memories of Mr. Lightfoot from my teaching days at Northcrest Elementary School. He was always available to be support to me, the school, and his son, Nathan. I always knew if I called him, he would be right there to lend a helping hand; he often provided treats for the class. I send my condolences to you and will keep you in my prayers. Sincerely, Mrs. Lynn Johnston

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. I worked for Jim Lightfoot, and then Craig and I worked the RR towers and agencies together from Portsmouth to Columbus. Had many good working hours with Craig. So sad to hear of his passing.

To My Wonderful Loving Hubby,
I miss you greatly. The only thing I would have wished for was more time together in sickness or in health. Thank-you so much for the time we did have together. You will always be in my heart and thoughts. You are at peace now and no more pain. Your body is perfect. And your soul free. Good Bye for now my handsome Huggy Bear.

I am sorry to hear of Craig's passing.
I worked with Craig's Dad (Jim or Buddy as we called him) when he was Chief Train Dispatcher with N&W and then worked with Craig when he started working on the N&W. Craig was a great person and I enjoyed working with him. I am sure he will be missed by both family and friends.
Nancy & Family - You are in my prayers. May God Bless and Comfort You with HIS LOVE.

Craig taught me to drive in highschool. He was so patient and funny, as I was not a good student. He laughed when I almost drove his car into a trash can and I was almost in tears. This past year we had chatted often about our fight against cancer. He lifted me up when I was down and always looked at this battle against this awful disease with the most positive outlook and attitude. He has been a blessing to me this summer and I will never forget him. I wish his family peace. Yvette Azeltine-Pryse, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Craig taught me to drive a car when we were in highschool. He was so patient... even when I almost drove his care into a trash container. We laughted so hard... his car was like a tank and turning that wheel was so much more than I expected! As i have already posted on Facebook... Craig has been an inspiration to me this summer as we fought this ugly animal called Cancer has a united front. He never wavered and maintained a strong and positive outlook every time I chatted with him... even when I was the weak and whining one. I will remember him always as the blessing he was. Love and prayers to his family. I which them and Craig peace.
