James Pontes Lira

I'm sure, after four years, Jimmies family and friends, miss him just as much or more, than ever. He was a great friend, and a great gentleman. I have memories of Jimmie at Cabrillo rec. center, Dana jr. high school, Point Loma high school, and of course, "The Corner" in Tunaville. Always good for a laugh. That was Jimmie.

an acquaintance, comes and goes. a friend is forever. when I'm in a group of other long time friends, jimmies name is one that comes up often. He was well liked and respected by his peers. R.I.P. ole friend.

I have memories of Jimmy going all the way back to the early 1950's at Cabrillo rec. center playing pick up Basketball. He was a great guy and a good friend. I've seen Jimmy off an on over the years and every time we saw each other there was a strong handshake and a warm hug and lot's of conversation. He will be missed.
