I learned everything I know about mechanical and automotive technology from this man... I use these talents to this day, as a business. He treated me like a son until he left this earth.. Thank you Mr. James. I needed it.

For Mr. James to be laid to rest on Jackie Robinson Day, how appropriate. For he was just as much a trailblazer as Jackie ito his craft and for his persuasion. To think he fought the machine by himself and succeeded during a time of unrest and racial tensions. He was not going to sit back and wait for tomorrow . RESPECT me today. RIP Thank you for the dreams you placed within my reach.

The Heavens have gained a wonderful man. He took the time to help a fatherless boy by teaching him a trade. That trade turned into our business. Without him taking the time for me where would I be.... Those days will always be remembered. Thank you God for him and those of you who shared him.

A good man has gone to be with God. May the peace of God be with your children and grandchildren. Rest in peace Uncle Shot!

To Regina, James Jr, Jeanette, and Robert, as we hold onto our memories of Uncle Shot, let us remember that "earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal". He is at peace now
