Mark,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will always remember the first time I met Mr. Jim, it was about 1 A.M. in 1976 in the First National Bank computer room in the John Hand bldg. I told him I knew a younger fellow named Mark Liveoak. His face lit up and he began to tell me about you and the U.S. Navy. I got to see him occasionally for the next 25 years or so. He was very well thought of by customers and co-workers alike. We look forward to seeing him again.

I have known JW since 1950. We graduated Sylacauga High together in 1951. He was a pleasant jovial friend through these many years. He joined the Air Force a few months before me. We met up in Tokyo and had a great time touring southern Japan together.

We both began our careers at IBM within a few months of each other. Although we worked in different cities we kept in touch through the years. He and Sara visited in our home in Texas and we always visited when we came to Alabama....

May God bless him and welcome Jim into the kingdom of Heaven.

Jim and Sara were special people. They stepped up to the plate during a time in my life when I disparately needed them. May God provide comfort to the family.
Jinnie Lawson (Truthan) - from his IBM family

Jim was our dear friend. It was shocking to hear that he passed but Thanks to Jesus we can see him again. God bless Mark and Vanessa and family.

My sympathy to Mark and all family members. I thought the world of Jim. He was a special person.
