A loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Jim passed from this Earth surrounded by his family in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday October 29th, 2018.

He leaves behind his loving wife Linda (Lee) Lloyd, daughter Beth Ann (Wayne) Feltus, sons Timothy William (Raydena Scruggs) Lloyd, Allen James (Jennifer Abbott) Lloyd, stepdaughter Laurie (Wilkins) Lagraize, grandchildren: Jessica Ann (Wil) Boely, Danielle Ryan (Douglas) Debelak, Chelsea Marie (Phillip) Hutton, Zoe Cynthia Lloyd, Finnegan James Lloyd, great-grandchildren: Dylan James Debelak, Andrew William Debelak, Fallon Joyce Slabaugh, Reagan Lynn Slabaugh and Carter Ray William Hutton. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert Paul Lloyd of Lorain, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Cynthia, his first son James Allen Lloyd III, three of his brothers: Eddie John Lloyd, Richard Leo Lloyd, Joseph "Butch" Kenneth Lloyd, and his 3 sisters Loretta Marie (Lloyd) Leblanc, Gertrude Ellen (Lloyd) Barakos, and Isabelle "Tish" Leonora Lloyd.

Born on September 13, 1935, in Boston, Massachusetts to James Allen Lloyd Sr. and Ellen Gertrude (Carney) Lloyd, he spent his youth in Billerica, Massachusetts. It was during his teenage years that he met his first love, his first wife Cynthia. He served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged after completing his service. He started a family and followed his parents and brothers to Ohio to work for The Ford Motor Company. His gregarious personality and spirit brought him success throughout his life. He quickly became a leader at Ford rising to Production Manager at Ohio Truck Plant in Avon Lake, Ohio. After 24 years at Ford he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to join Nissan Motor Manufacturing as a quality engineer and later in purchasing. Tragically, his wife Cynthia succumbed to cancer 4 years after coming to Tennessee. Several years later Jim was fortunate to have Linda (Lee) come into his life. A beautiful, loving, devoted and fiercely loyal woman, Linda and Jim were married in 1994. After 39 years working for automotive manufacturing he left Nissan to start his own company as a consultant for automotive suppliers. He ran this successful business until he was 80, finally retiring.

Jim touched many lives over his 83 years. His sweet disposition and caring nature made anyone who met him feel welcome and familiar as if they had been lifelong friends. You would never find Jim without a smile on his face and a hand ready to greet you. We will miss his joyful heart and his beautiful blue eyes. We love you dad.

Visitation will be Friday November 2, 2018 from 3 - 7 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday November 3, 2018 at noon. Father Joseph Patrick Breen will be the celebrant at St. Edward Catholic Church, 188 Thompson Lane. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
