James B. Logan, 60, of Calhoun, Kentucky died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on August 7, 1948 in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Bernard James and Maxine Elizabeth Logan. He was a 1966 graduate of Frankfort High School and graduated from Sams Technical College in Indianapolis in June, 1969. He retired in February, 2000 as a senior electronics engineering technician for General Motors/Delphi Electronics. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Wanda F. Logan; his daughters, Angela Dawn Savage of Utica, KY and Shawn Andrea Dowden of Owensboro; five grandchildren, C.J. Coleman and Hallie Savage, Kayla Newton and Logan Dowden; his brother, Jerry (Judy) Logan of Noblesville, IN; several nieces and nephews and his furry friends, Boots and Gracie. Services are at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho, KY. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 12:00 noon on Thursday at James H. Davis Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or to the McLean County Humane Society.
