Jim was a true gentleman whose intellect and warmth filled our mind and hearts. For all of us at InterTronic Solutions, you will be truly missed.

Jim was a Little Brother of mine in the Sigma Chi chapter at Penn State. He was one of the most considerate people I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing. One of the characteristics that we looked for in prospective Sigma Chi members was to have a "congenial disposition" and Jim possessed that quality. He always had a smile on his face and a positive word. He opened his apartment in Pasadena to me when I had business travel to LA and he opened his home when I later traveled to Maryland....

Jim 'Leroy' Long was a pledge brother of mine at Penn State. He was a truly great person. He always raised the spirits of those around him. His smile is unforgettable and how I always have and always will think of him. RIP Jim.

Jim was my pledge trainer at the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Penn State in 1976 and a fellow civil engineer. In the fraternity, he went by Leroy. He played a big role in my early college years and I have the greatest respect for him as a mentor and a friend. I know that he will be truly missed by many.

I worked on and off with Jim for a number of years, while at Honeywell. Jim was a huge help to me in resolving radome design issues for our tracking station in Guam.
Jim was a true professional, and I always appreciated his even keeled temperment.
