Not sure what to say?

Jimmy was a special man. We bowled together for many years at Blue Valley, Wind Gap. I felt like Jim was my older brother. Jim was the "biggest" little man I have ever known. God Bless him. I hope I can meet him again in the great bowling alley in the sky.

As a kid playing in my yard, Mr. Long would be seen either walking past our hour or riding his motorcycle. Each and every time he went by, he would wave and smile at us. I never “knew” him personally but he left an everlasting impact of kindness on my life. Rest in peace Mr. Long. Thank you for showing Christ’s love even in the small ways.

Our condolences to the family on the passing of Jimmy. Jimmy was a loving, fun and warm person when we saw him at the bowling alley. We enjoyed his thoughtfulness, companionship and camaraderie when we were bowling with him. We will miss him and we thank him for his service to our country. Cathy & Vincent Bruno Effort

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Jim's passing. I knew him from the food pantry and he always had encouraging words and a great BIG smile. He was such a fantastic person and will be deeply missed. Heaven received another angel!

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

My Uncle Jim was a faith believer in God because he had a God fearing mother. He showed Gods love in his actions. Humor, and compassion towards all people. It didn´t matter who or what they were. Past angers were resolved and turned into love. He was a great man who loved his country and fought for our freedoms along with many others. I will miss him. I am happy that he is not suffering anymore. And is with all those he lost before. Your niece Karen

Lewis and I got to know Jim and Gale when we were all involved with the Blue Mountain Radio club years ago when cbs were still popular. More recently we would see him and his sister at Wind Gap Methodist church where they had the Because you Matter ministries meals every two weeks. Condolences to the family.
