I was saddened to hear of James passing, he was such an institution of Harlingen's beauty. I went to Xaviers, many years ago and found my long-time hairdresser Mando there, and I also met Belinda. He welcomed clients and hairdressers into his shop, with his gentle manner. He would give people a chance. He had art shows, and gatherings that he always thought would be interesting. He maneuvered ex-wives, and current wives, and frenemies. His laughter was so genuine. The Lopez family...

Oh James you are going to be greatly missed, you have been doing my hair, my moms and dads hair, the best thing is you were a great friend, prayers for your family

Papa...I miss you so much. A phone call a day made my day. The distance didn´t stop the bond we had. The picture below was the last time we all danced together..my girls love you and miss you. The only grandpa they ever had. You are truly a super man.. my Super Hero and the best dad a little girl could ever ask for! Rest in heaven!

Recall discovering Xaviers Hair Salon and meeting Mr. Lopez. He was a gentleman as a person and cosmetology, very professional in his field. His salon was awesome and employees professional as well.
