James D. Loudermelt

I bowled against J.D. and his son J.W. years ago at Sunset in the Doghouse leagues. In recent years he subbed on occasionally in the Airway big 12. He was often watching when he wasn't bowling and always greeted others with a smile had a kind word with all that would stop and talk to him. He will be missed.

My thought and prayers go out to his family. I bowled against him on the league at airway. Very kind and a really good bowler. He always said hello and when he was bowling against you you had to earn the win, he made you work for it. Very sad to see this. You will be missed Jim.

I bowled on a team with Jim and his passing will put a big hole in our team. Jim always seemed to be smiling he was a really good Person. I will miss him. Prayers and condolences go out to his family.

I knew Jim from bowling against him in various leagues around Kalamazoo. He was a great competitor and one of the finest and soft spoken gentleman that I have ever met.Rest In Peace Jim my friend.

I was a graduate with James in 1954 and was really amazed oh how intelligent he was in all areas. He was so respected by his classmates. There are not too many in our class that are still alive today. The '54 class only had around 65 graduates and only a few of us remain.
