James R. Loudon

James R. Loudon, 75 of Minerva died in Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center, Friday, April 18, 2003 following a long illness. Born in Hanoverton, August 17, 1927, he was the son of the late Abe and Edith (Pelley) Loudon. He worked at Loudon Motor Sales and was the owner of Jim Loudon Chrysler Plymouth in Minerva. Jim was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tubal Lodge #551, Tadmor Shrine, a life member of VFW Post 4120 and a US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Jim served on the Minerva Volunteer Fire Department for 37 years.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Kris and Ginny Loudon of Louisville, daughter Jill Loudon of Alliance, granddaughter Brittany Wood of Louisville, grandson Daniel Loudon of Louisville; sisters Sara Wolf of Malvern, Esther Leatherberry of Florida; brother Walt Loudon of Louisville and step-mother Mary Loudon of Canton.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM,Tuesday, April 22 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Joe Ertl officiating. Masonic Services and Military Honors will be held at the church. Friends may call one hour before services at the church.
