My name is Ken Sharrock and Jim Lounsbury was a friend of mine since we were 12 years old. He was the funniest and most insightful person I ever knew. Will never forget all the great times. Thank You Jim.

I haven´t been in Michigan where i grew up since covid, I returned this year and as always made a trip to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market looking for my favorite michigan artist. I am so sorry to read about Jims death. I would only see him once a year but he always remembered me. I cherish all the work i have by Jim.

Every Saturday I feel that empty spot on the market. I miss seeing and talking to you. Your paintings in my house keep you alive for me.

All these months later, I still feel a keen sense of loss and regret. Jim was a great man and a great friend. I miss him.

Jim was a like father to me he and Jules were both very good friends to my mom Adele I hope that Jim and Adele are together again somewhere. I will always remember you Jim rest in peace and someday we´ll all be together again I love you
