Jim and I lost track of each other since we left Cretin, but I'll always remember him as a kind, friendly guy with a constant grin. My sincere condolences to Jim's family and friends. We were blessed to have known him!

Loveland Family - I was saddened to see the loss of Jim in Sunday's paper. From what I knew of him, he was a great guy. He worked with my Dad Ray at MN/DOT and later at the Health Department with my sister Becky. When he visited Public Safety he would stop by my office and always ask about my Dad. Jim was a man with wisdom and strength of character. He was passionate about living a life of meaning and adored his family. He would honor us with his service as a professional. He would delight us with his joy. My heart is heavy today seeing the news of his passing. My prayers go out to you. I celebrate knowing this good man.

It is indeed a sad day when one of your high school contemporaries and a close friend (and a ride to school many snowy mornings) passes away. Jim did a great job of literally demanding another year of his life from fate with his positive attitude. May he look down upon us now with the same great memories with which we remember him.
