Not sure what to say?

I knew Jim as Jimmy, but I was a child when I saw him. His father Jesse and mother Connie in on 8C and I and my family lived on 9C in the apartment house at 815 Park Avenue. I have the fondest memories of Jim from my 19 years as Director of the Insect Zoo at the San Francisco Zoo. He was the always the strongest supporter of the Insect Zoo on the Board for all the years I was there. It was a trail-blazing facility as the first insectarium in the western United States in 1979. When I left the zoo he again offered his support to me. I will never forget his vision, generosity and his kindness to me.

I sure will miss playing bridge with big Jim Ludwig!
