Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe another year of passing for Uncle Jim. All of the Lukins and Matson children have passed. Continue to share the fond memories of your dad, grandpa, uncle and friend.

Uncle Jim was my dad's youngest brother. My dad was the last to pass in 2016. It is hard when the day comes for their anniversary of passing. We need to hold on to their memories of life to keep them alive in our life.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

To Arlene and Linda and the rest of Jim's family,
I am so grateful to Linda Lian Retzlaff for sending on the message of Jim's passing. As I told her, in an email response, Jim was my first boyfriend. We lived just a block away ftom each other and spent many summer days playing as a foursome with his sister Linda and my brother Jimmy. Linda, do you remember all the time we spent in the vacant lot between Rowen's and Arestad's playing Tarzan in the trees? What fun memories.
Jim even...

I too knew Jim from Aneta. We all grew up living and going to school in Aneta. As in a small town everyone knew everyone and I think we all remember what a good cook Jim's Mother was. I have many memories of time spent at the Lukin's home. My deepest sympathy goes to Arlene and the family and to Linda and her family. You all have many memories and those will keep Jim close to all of you. Diane (Smallbeck) Erickson

Like Robert Retzlaff, I was also a classmate of Jim's for 12 years in Aneta, ND. Jim was not only a good friend but also my first junior high boy friend! I saw Jim very seldom as an adult but was so pleased that he chose to join our 50th high school class reunion in Aneta, and we could renew our friendship for a few days. My sincere sympathy to Jim's family.

I too remember Jim from Aneta. He always seemed soft spoken and just an all around nice guy. My condolences to his family.

Sympathies to the Lukins family -- I too, grew up in Aneta and knew Jim and his siblings. May the good memories sustain you in your time of sorrow. God Bless!

To the Family of Jim,
Jim and I grew up together in the small town of Aneta, ND. We were classmates for 12 years and had many good times together. The last time we spent time together was our 50th high school class reunion in Aneta in 2009.
He will live on in the memories of the folks in Aneta.
Sympathy is extended to the entire family. Robert Retzlaff
