Not sure what to say?

I just found out today about Jim´s passing...I cherish my memories of Jim...he was our family insurance agent for many years..I carpooled to confirmation with his daughters Lisa and Linda..a really nice loving man...deepest sympathy to his family and may Almighty God continue to comfort all... Robert Bristow Bettendorf

I am so sad I cannot be with you all. I send all my love huge hugs and condolences. I will always remember how supportive and so much fun Uncle Jim has been through my life. I have many many great memories from my youth. I was always so excited when I got to come and stay with you both. I will never forget all the special times. Even when I moved far away you both have been so supportive. I will miss Uncle Jim Greatly. Love you Uncle Jim. Rest softly.

Gladys & family - so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Gladys, Linda and Lisa, sons in law, and grandchildren. Jim blessed your lives and all he touched with his goodness and positive engagement with life. Every meeting with Jim and Gladys raised memories of the past, thanksgiving for the present, and a bit of vision into the future. His hearty laughter when sharing humorous stories was contagious and love for discussing sports and current events was refreshing. He is the kind who will be missed because he made your day better when he was in it....

Had good times fishing and having picnics at the sandpits with family. Also remember when he worked for the fire department in Cedar Falls!!
