Not sure what to say?

Jim Lybrand was an honorable and successful lawyer but more importantly a great person to be around and have conversations about the most important and the most lights hearted events of our lives. His death has snuck up on me while out of town and I sincerely apologize to Julie, the children and grandchildren, and the Forbes family for not being at the Memorial Service to offer support. The loss of Jim saddens my heart but the many memories of him triggered by his death buoy my soul. Jim will...

I am just reading about Jim passing away. I am so very sorry. Jim and I became friends at the YMCA. He worked out with me when my business was on Devine St. I always loved our conversations. Jim made an huge impact on many, many lives.

What a perfect , lovely tribute to Jimmy and the priceless life he shared with Julie and his girls. He was one of those who just made life better and he will be mourned and missed by so many.

Jimmy was such a grand guy and always a delight to be around . Tailgating at USC football games was always so great with Jimmy snd Julie, and Anna and Pringle . Jimmy had a real gift of gab and was such a friend to tons of folks . His unexpected passing shocked us all . Much much love to Julie and her precious girls. We will not forget him....He was a GEM.

I wanted to extend deepest sympathy to the Lybrand Family. I was friends with Jim and Julie since Law School. Jim was a great Trial Lawyer and a member of a well respected Law Firm. Julie and Jim are wonderful people. My thoughts are with the Lybrand Family. Garry Wooten

This is quite a shock. We were in law school together and went to get late night snacks almost every weekday night after the library closed. Jim was a very hard worker and always stayed until the library closed. He then appropriately went to a law firm known for its high ethical standards and fairness. You could always believe everything he said, and we were on the opposite side of several cases. He was such a delight to be around that this was a stronger quality than his high intelligence.

What a tragic loss. He was always a gentleman. My condolences to Jim´s family and to all those who loved and respected him.

I am extremely sad to hear of Jim´s passing. Jim was a great friend to so many people and he was always a joy to be around. My heartfelt condolences are sent to Julie and the family. I will miss Jimmy deeply.
