Not sure what to say?

I met James in 1977 when he delivered my oldest son. 12 years later, after I had gone through so much "try this" therapy with other Dr's, I was referred to his Office. As I waited for him in his Office, I was reading the documents on the wall, and discovered that he had, indeed, been the kind man who held my hand all the way into the delivery room, and delivered my son 12 years before.

James saved my life. He discovered the problem and helped me to deliver two more children! ...

I just talked about this doctor with friends yesterday. Still miss his loving spirit and healing hands. I thank God that he was here on this earth. Great doctor and just a very good person.

Dr. Lyle was such a precious man. He always had a kind, uplifting spirit and a wonderful smile. He was my doctor from the beginning of his practice in Birmingham. He always remembered even the smallest details about my family. He was more than a doctor - he was a special friend. He saved my son's life and for that I will forever be greatful. The world is a much richer place because of him. The Lyle family is in my prayers.

Dr.Lyle was such a joy and he was always so kind. When I delivered my first son he made me feel like I was the only lady in the world that had been pregnant. He will truly be missed he always made my mother and me laugh, they would always joke around. I am praying for you and your family, because I know he will truly be missed.

Dr Lyle a kind and caring man. He delivered both of my children and I will always think of him on their birthdays. God has another plan for him now. He helped so many while here on Earth and now he will be able to help us from Heaven. Love and condolences to his family, you are in our prayers.

I will never be able to find another doctor as kind, caring and competent as Dr. Lyle. I hope it gives you comfort to know how much he was loved by so many. I will miss him. My prayers are with you.

My heart is broken at the news of Jim's death especially that I missed learning of it until today. He was so special to me as my Dr. and to my daughters as he became their Dr. also. Our prayers and sympathy are with your family. Lauren McCarver, John, Kelley and Kasey.

With Sincere Sympathy,

Willie Ruth Hill

Dear Lyle Family, I saw the announcement in Briarwood's weekly bulletin and was very sad to confirm what I suspected. How blessed you are to have shared a life with such a wonderful man as Dr. Lyle. Although our relationship was just that of a Dr/Patient, I could easily see what a great man he was. I look forward to seeing his smiling face again in Heaven...

Please accept my deepest sympathies.
