While no one can ever forget Jamie's time with The Music Explosion, I'm sure that fewer people remember his band, The Lost Children, during the late 60's. I first heard, and met, Jamie and The Lost Children when they played at the old "Hide-a-Way" Bar on the Black Fork River in Loudonville, OH. They did a version of Sam & Dave's "Hold On, I'm Comin'" that I still remember today, and which was on par with the music of The Vanilla Fudge at the time. Dear family of Jamie-I know this is very late in posting, but I only heard of Jamie´s passing about a year ago. And today as I was going through old photos as one does, I came across this one. My name was Ellie (gal sitting with a cigarette) and I was living with Carolyn (the gal on the left smiling). Jim, I think of you very often and miss you. I actually listened to several tracks off the Capital City Rockets album on YouTube the other day. Brought back so many memories watching roller derby and Joannie Weston like we often did. Jim you are definitely not forgotten...your friend Steve.

I always think of my time with Jamie..Last night I was inducted into the Syracuse hall of fame...I spoke about my friendship with Jamie in our music days..in closing my continued prayers for his wife an family..He is never forgotten by me...God Bless ..
