James Dewey Mabe, born 2/2/21 in Stokes County, NC., moved to Phx in 1960, employed by the AZ Republic for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Opal and children Ed Mabe, Jettie Mitchell and Elaine Sprinzl, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Opal, John and I wish so much that we could be there for Dewey's service. We will greatly miss him, he was like a father to John. But now he's with his brother Norman, and they can swap stories forever. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to let us know.
