Not sure what to say?

Remember when Jim and Alec came to visit us in Oregon. It was a special treat to uncle Carl and aunt Lillian. Sending our love to all the Macbeth family. Carl and Nancy Macbeth

Jim was a completely unique and unforgettable character who enriched my days in Tallahassee with his sense of humor, his love of Florida history and his just plain simple sweetness. I'm glad I never completely lost touch with him but our infrequent contact means I just discovered his passing. My condolences to his family and to all of those who will miss this dear man.

To Jim's family, I just found this obituary as I was planning a trip to my mother's graveside in FL and thought that I might be able to say hello to Jim. I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a dear friend and museum colleague. His twinkling blue eyes and smile will be treasured by all who knew him. As a fellow artist and museum colleague, my life was much enriched by his creativity and love of Florida history, flora and fauna. I hope that the happy memories will be a source of strength for...

To Jim's family: We are very sorry for your loss. Jim was a good boss at the Museum of Florida History, and a friend.

Jim gave me, a young and inexperienced artist the chance of a lifetime, to bring history alive as part of the Museum of Florida History family. I will be forever grateful and lovingly count him as one of the greatest of friends. In my heart and memories he lives forever with his unique artistic nature and constant warm smile.

So sorry for your loss.

Our condolences

We will miss his sunny laughter.
Love,
Jim and Charlotte MInter
