Not sure what to say?

I found out this past April that Jimmy Mac had passed and couldn't believe or should say that I did not want to believe that he was gone. My sympathy goes out to his entire family. I met Jimmy Mac towards the end of our junior year at Brockport. He was such a nice guy, you always had fun with him. I have many fond memories of parties, boy could Jimmy Mac dance!! The best time was a camping trip up to Stillwater Reservoir in the Adirondack Mountains. Thank you for all the memories, you found...

I didn't sign this thing sooner b/c I wasn't really sure what I wanted to say. But, I've enjoyed reading all the silly stories and good times everyone had with my dad. So I figured I would share one with all of you that happened just a few months ago.
My dad and I were leaving the garland house after dinner and a couple of cocktails, and we went to get in his truck like usual. So we're sitting there getting all situated and buckled up... when suddenly my dad turns to me and goes I...

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire MacCollum family. I knew all of you long before I met you, as Macky talked of you often and lovingly, and of course with lots of laughter. He was absolutely one of my best friends. I will miss our long chats, whether it was at Jimmy Mac's, in my living room, online or on the cell, about good things, and about the bad. They'll always be so special to me, I'll treasure those times dearly, along with all of the other good times we had,...

Our house became a home when you came to stay with us in March. I had forgotten so many wonderful times many years ago. You brought them back. You probably don't remember but I was your second Mom when you were born. I watched Capt. Kangaroo and gave you a bottle b/4 school every day I could. We will never forget "Honey I'm home " as you would say whenever returning home at 4:00 as the "flag" would rise. I always repeated "Honey's home" We will slowly readjust. We miss you and learned to love...

I'm speechless at the loss. My heart goes out to Mr. & Mrs. Mac' and Tom, Tim, and Nancy. Jim was the best best-friend any kid could want.

Night games of "boogey-man", endless backyard wiffle-ball, mid-state hockey at 5 yrs old, little league, riding bikes "down to the village", cutting the line at Tarbe's, going out for lacrosse, getting a 10-speed bike, all my happy memories from 113 Hiawatha seem to involve Jim somewhere in the picture.

Like Jim Tarbe, I also...

I just heard the sad news from my sister-in-law. I grew up next door to the MacCollums and our family owes much to the MacCollums in many ways - from turning the regatta into a profitable enterprise ($2 a head to sneak in through our back yard) to sports, especially hockey. Getting outfitted for hockey by the Macs when our parents didn't have a clue about equipment, skating on the Lagoon at 10 at night, and the best one - skating *across* Onondaga Lake as a 4 yr old during the Blizzard of...

On behalf of the Bronk Family,
Our deepest sympathy to the MacCollum family. We have fond memories of Jim! He will live on in the hearts of those that knew and loved him.

Bubbles-
The first time I saw you, you had to have been 2 or 3 years old, always following Cece and me everywhere. My greatest memories are from 111 Hiawatha. Skating at the lagoon, riding bikes at the lake, trips to Bryne Dairy for ice cream on summer nights in the back of the MacCollum mobile, snipe hunting (yeah, I fell for that one), skiing Cutthroat, and who could ever forget Fredericka and Jimger? I could go on and on... My love to you, your brothers and sisters who are like MY...
