Not sure what to say?

Father Maceo taught me into the Episcopal Church and confirmed my life with Jesus in elegance and his learned speech at St. Johns Episcopal. I served with him as an acolyte many times just the two of us in service to and with the father, son, and Holy Ghost. Love continues on in his name as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. I hear our bell ringing three times for our lord. Thanks, Robert from Robert. 1967-1972 before I went to the Army as a draftee.

My best friend, Kim Brown Thompson used to alternate churches with me. I have fond memories of Father Maceo's sermon's. I also used to teach fourth grade and Kindergarten at St. John's Episcopal school. Blessings to this wonderful family and to the lasting legacy of scriptures that Father Maceo taught me.

I have fond memories eating dinner a few times when Melissa invited me over. Being a neighborhood kid Father Maceo always made us all feel so welcome! He had a way of bringing out your worth with a mere smile. What a gift! My prayers to you Charlotte and Melissa and your whole family. I am currently living on Springwater..come see me! Fr. Maceo was church to me throughout my childhood. The two were inextricable. When I do something as simple as repeating the Lord's prayer for my kids, I hear his voice singing the setting we always used at St. Johns. I'm glad he's released from bondage, and send all love to the Maceo family.

May the angels lead you into paradise,
May the martyrs receive you
In your coming,
And may they? guide you
Into the holy city, Jerusalem.
May the chorus of angels receive you
And with Lazarus once poor
May you have eternal rest.

Father Maceo, Beloved friend and pastor. The many times we worshiped together. The many times we laughed together. Your counsel, support and care are all precious in our memories. Our family sends our love and care to your family. John and Helen Williams-Comanche, Texas

I am so grateful and honored that the Maceo family has woven itself into my life. Fr. Maceo's legacy will live on in the life and love of the people he touched.

I pray that this most extraordinary man relish his inevitable journey. He and his remarkable family remain an anchor in my soul. I am humbled by the effect he, and they, have had upon my spirit. Godspeed, Father Maceo.

Father Maceo - You will never know what an impact you had on our family while at St. Johns & beyond - both spiritually and also as a true friend & mentor. Love to your family. Lauren, Karen & Linda Hill
