James R. Maclise, 74, of Lodi, was called to rest on Sept. 17. He was born Dec. 14, 1935 in Newark, N.J. His parents were Deming Gerow and Vivian Ruth Maclise. Mr. Maclise was an English and writing teacher at Lodi High School from 1972-1996. He earned his bachelor's degree at UC Davis in 1957....
