Not sure what to say?

Deepest sympathy to the Magnus girls. We just learned of Jim's passing today and are sorry to have missed the chance to express our condolences personally. Jim was the life of the party; his sense of humor and positive demeanor will be greatly missed. The world has lost a fine human being.

Gerry, Mike and family - our deepest sympathy to you in the passing of your wonderful father, Gerry. It's always hard to say good-bye, even good-bye FOR NOW, but we know the time will pass quickly and you will see him again. God's peace, comfort, grace, and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Magnus Family,

I know my entire family has fond memories of Jim up at the lake cabin. We spent many years being the best boats in the 4th of July parade (granted sometimes the only boats!) All of us enjoyed his stories, especially about being a gopher hockey player. ( I still have an autographed hat by him!) He will be missed by many.

Dear Judy and family,

My sister Jean called to tell me your father had died. I'm so sorry. I never knew all those wonderful things written up in the paper - only that he was your dad and a real nice man.

We kids never thought much about the grown-ups; just took for granted that there would always be someone to look after us and take care of us. Our parents did a good job of that. We've been blessed.

I have a memory of your dad taking me along with you girls...
