James A. Magnuson

Jim was a valued friend to the many family members of Moores Department Store and to all of our wonderful employees amd customers over the many years. He was an amazing decorator and mentor over the years and he was able to envision and transform spaces into attractive and functional areas. Jim was a dear friend to the Moore Family and employees and cutomers alike. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

I really hated to read about Jim's passing in the Lompoc Record. My memory of him goes back pretty far. He was a great help to me after he set up shop in the old post office on South "I" Street. He helped me design my beautiful drapes that are still hanging up in my living room. I always think of him whenever I look at them. My heart goes out to his family and friends as I know how much he will be missed.

Jerilyn, Tommy and Families, Jim was a bright light and a treasure to all who knew him. Bless his life and may your memories bring you comfort.

The Magnuson Family lived next door to my aunt and uncle on No H St in a little red house. Jimmy never passed up a chance to call me "Smokey". Later in years he relayed this to 3 of my grandchildren, who thought it was fun to continue using his nickname! A memory I will always charish! He was a sweet man and it has been a treasure knowing him.

Jerilyn, I am so sorry to hear of you loss. My brother Bill die in 2004 and I still miss him so much.
