James W. Malarkey

16 Years! Some days it seems like only yesterday, then other days, it seems forever. :( Thank you Danny & James (?) for your kind words over the years. Dad was a kind & gentle man. The one time I saw Dad upset was the Saturday before his heart attack. By the grace of God, we had him many more years. That Christmas (1974), the Chumleys put my daughter's Christmas kitchen set together! His endearing words were "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" ....

Hardly seems possible. Mr. Malarkey was such a kind man. I don't think I ever saw him upset, yet he Always had a smile to share. Mr. and Mrs. Malarkey are missed more thank you know.

Cheryl, you are right. I can close my eyes and still hear Mr. Malarky answering the phone. He was such a nice man. Both your parents are missed a Lot.

Doesn't seem like 15 years! We continue to miss him (and Mom). Such a wonderful Dad! Someone to admire for his great character.

I tell you, I was mowing today and all of the sudden I started thinking about Jim and Ruth. More than likely seeing Mike and Marie's house bedind our house. I sure do miss them both, and have so many great memories.

Our 1st Father's Day without Dad here on earth. I imagine his day is perfect in heaven. His life lives on through the legacy he leaves for generations to come.

We miss "Mr. Malarkey" - I lost my mother exactly one week after he died (I lost my Mother on 7/21/06). Not a day goes by that I don't think of her - as I am sure you do with Jim. Peace to you all- Love, Patty Folsom (and Alan, Michelle and Kim)

Today is Dad & Mom's 59th Wedding Anniversary. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

It has been 6 months since Dad died (7/14/06). Dad was a very special person who touched the lives of those around him with his warmth and twinkling eyes. His humor,wisdom and kindness are deeply missed.
