James passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. James was a resident of New York at the time of passing. Friends and family may call Monday from 4-8:00 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., (Southtowns Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, (please assemble at church), the burial will follow the Mass at Nativity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Police Emerald Society 82 Fields Ave., Buffalo, NY 14210 (for the support of the South Buffalo Police Memorial) Mr. Maloney was the founder and president of Southtowns Community Federal Credit Union, he worked at the South Buffalo Railway for over 35 years, he was a member of the K of C Nash Council and the Senior K of C Nash Council and was active in many other South Buffalo Community Organizations.
