I met Jim while I was working at Thelma Skelton Meals on Wheels. He was kind, funny, and smart. He always seemed to have a smile on his face, and we enjoyed talking over the NY Times book review.
My condolences to the family, may he rest in peace.

Sorry for your loss. I was active in the Alumni Association during Mr. Manning's tenure at Albany Academy. He brought some (much needed!) changes to the school which helped position it for the next 100 years. He will always be remembered.
