James Allison Marchand Jr.

I came across Jim´s obituary while searching the internet for him and am saddened to learn of his passing. We were roommates in New Orleans for a year or so and became close friends during that period. I managed a men´s haberdashery on St. Charles and taught him how to dress with the established presence that an attorney in NOLA was expected to. Jim and I were on the opposite sides of the courtroom. He did not take a case that didn´t have merit. He did not win all , but more than most. He was very talented and always a gentleman. It was never scorched earth. I am glad to have met him and I referred cases to him of those that warranted such to have capable representatives. One cool guy .

I just heard this news of Mr. James passing! He will be greatly missed at the salon always telling stories, my som loved talking with him when he was out walking around and feeding the cats that roamed around our business area, he loved his wife Phillis so much and always talked about her during his appointments.
